01 Problem

Sound machines, blind operations.

Machines that are twenty to forty years old often run fine mechanically but are invisible to modern operations.

They produce no telemetry, support no condition monitoring, and offer no remote diagnostics. The machine is healthy; the organization just cannot see it.

02 Why existing approaches fail

The quoted fixes are the wrong size.

Everything on the market is either too large for the problem or too shallow to matter.

  • Plant-scale replacements

MES and SCADA replacements are quoted at the scale of the whole plant, so a single machine never justifies the project.

  • OEM retrofit kits

Retrofit kits from the original manufacturers exist only for the newest lines.

  • Generic IoT boxes

Generic IoT boxes stop at a dashboard nobody uses.

03 System

Legacy signals in, working telemetry out.

The gateway sits beside the machine, not inside it. Legacy PLC and analog signals go in; normalized telemetry comes out, feeding condition monitoring, production metrics and alerts.

04 What exists today

An architecture on paper, hardware shortlisted.

The reference architecture and the signal-normalization design exist. Hardware candidates for the gateway device have been identified.

No retrofit has been performed yet, and nothing in this program is deployed.

05 Evidence

What we can show.

Evidence / 2026-P030 entries

No published evidence yet. This section fills as experiments produce results worth showing.

06 Status

The program, stated plainly.

07 What comes next

One machine, retrofitted and measured.

The next step is a pilot retrofit on one machine, instrumented end to end and measured against its previous visibility.

08 Work with us

Have machines worth modernizing but not worth replacing?

Tell us what the equipment is, how old it is, and what it currently reports. We will tell you what a retrofit would surface.
